NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting (BOPS)
The NRA BOPS course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the student will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses.

Modern Spartan Advanced Self Defense Pistol
This course is designed for individuals with prior knowledge and experience in firearm safety and basic pistol shooting. It will focus on advanced techniques, tactical decision-making, and concealed carry considerations in dynamic, real-world situations. Students will enchance their ability to safely and effectively use a pistol for self-defense in a variety of high-pressure environments.

Modern Spartan Basic Self Defense Pistol
This course teaches the basic knowledge and skills needed to own, carry, and use a concealed firearm safely. In this course students will learn about the ethical and legal considerations for the use of a firearm in self defense and learn and demonstrate fundamental marksmanship techniques from concealment. Upon completion, students will receive a course certificate valid for the Florida Concealed Weapons License application. Students must have completed the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting or some other pistol fundamentals course, possess a USPSA/IDPA classification of C or better, or have a valid military ID/DD 214.
